Sharon Rosenfeld Scott is a landscape fine artist based on Martha’s Vineyard, MA. My work is primarily acrylic on linen/canvas. My desire is to capture moments of joy to share with others. The work is informed by a lifetime spent near the sea. It is particularly attuned to sites where land, water, and sky all meet.  I like to capture the shifting ripples on the water and the delicate drift of colors. Color relationships being one of my primary passions. I layer paints onto the surface to create a luminous and delicate surface; modulating color to create the illusion of depth. I strive to share the essence of each place between canvas and audience. In addition to paintings, I work in prints and photographs. My art has been featured in major exhibitions and galleries around the US and hangs in several private and corporate collections worldwide.
